The International Staff Officers' Course (ISOC 17) was officially opened by the Director of the Professional Military Education Centre, Colonel Tomáš Novotný, PhD., on 26 September, 2017 in the Armed Forces Academy in Liptovský Mikuláš.

    ISOC 17 is being attended by 20 officers in ranks of First Lieutenant, Captain and Major from Czech Republic, Latvia, Poland and Slovakia.

    The aim of the course is to enable the students to master the planning and conducting of military operations in accordance with NATO standards throughout the full spectrum of conflicts in multinational environment.

    The ISOC 17 will finish on 24 November, 2017.
