ISOC 18 has started
 
    The International Staff Officers' Course (ISOC 18) was officially opened by introductory presentation done by LTC Jozef Wesselényi (ISOC Commander), on 26 February, 2018 in the Armed Forces Academy in Liptovský Mikuláš.

    ISOC 18 is being attended by 18 officers in ranks from Lieutenant up to Major from Czech Republic, State of Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Slovakia.

    The course is reflecting the military requirement for a standardization on the tactical planning process in NATO. The aim of the course is to enable the students to master the planning and conducting of military operations in English in accordance with NATO standards throughout the full spectrum of conflicts in multinational environment.

    Student acquired advance knowledge on military English, land forces capabilities, map symbols and military doctrine during first 3 weeks which will be absolutely critical for future planning sessions and successful graduation from the course as the first step for interoperability in the multinational deployments.

    The ISOC 18 will finish on 27 April, 2018.
