ISOC 25 has started
 
    International Staff Officers’ Course (ISOC) 25 was officially opened by introductory presentation done by Major René Hečko (lecturer of the International courses department) on September 27th, 2021 in the Armed Forces Academy in Liptovský Mikuláš, where he presented the mission, structure and tasks of Armed Forces Academy and ISOC.
    
    Nine officers in ranks from captain to major from Slovak republic, eight 1st lieutenants from Czech republic, two 1st lieutenants from Latvia and one captain from National Guard Indiana are attending ISOC 25.
    
    During the first week students expanded their English language skills and improved communication and knowledge of military terminology. Next weeks they will become familiar with the use of units of different specializations and services as well as with the organizational structures of individual combat units of the land forces. Later they will acquire necessary information and skills needed for the military decision-making process.
    
    They will be prepared for joint action at all stages of preparation and planning at the tactical level during the lectures and exercises and they will be able to plan and conduct military operations in English language in accordance with NATO standards across the whole spectrum of conflicts in an international environment.
    
    Course completion is scheduled for November 26th 2021.
