The presentation „Role of NATO“ was given by MAJ Seth KOZAK, US Army at the ISOC (International Staff Officer’s Course) at the Military Academy of the Armed Forces on 17th of September 2009.

    Maj Kozak explained the purpose of the establishment and the role of NATO in the past and nowadays, furthermore the roles and responsibilities of NATO members. He focused on the role of the USA within the organization and relevantly assessed current state as well as possible challenges which can be expected in future.

    The presentation of Maj Kozak attracted an interest of students from all participating countries and initiated fruitful open forum of students thanks to his opened approach to the topic. The most active participants were the mission experienced students. The presentation was very interesting for ISOC lectors who appreciated the form of given presentation.
