The 7th ISOC Opening Ceremony
 
    7th International Staff Officers’ Course was officially opened by the Acting Rector of the Armed Forces Academy Assoc. Prof. Dipl. Eng. Pavel NEČAS, Ph.D. on 26th September 2011.

    Armed Forces Academy of General Milan Rastislav Štefánik is recognized PfP Training Center.

    There are 20 officers in ISOC-7 in ranks of First Lieutenant, Captain and Major from 8 NATO and PfP Countries (Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Moldova, Serbia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Ukraine and Slovakia). The course is a next step in their professional military carrier.

    During the course the students will undertake the theoretical and practical preparation in order to enhance their capabilities to participate in staff work within multinational environment in the area of planning and conducting of military oprations. They will conduct exercises focused on operational planning of defensive and offensive operations. The general idea of the course is to increase the interoperability within the NATO and PfP Countries concerning the military training and education.

    The ISOC-7 will finish on 1th December 2011.
