Based on tradition established one year ago next International day was organized on 16th October in ISOC area. Opening speech was given by Brigadier General Assoc. Prof. Dipl. Eng. Boris Ďurkech, Ph.D. (Rector of Armed Forces Academy of General Milan Rastislav Štefánik) accompanied by Mr. Michal Chlebec (Director of Lifelong Education Centre). Both official guests together with other guests from different institutions and departments located within Armed Forces Academy compound highly appreciated and evaluated enthusiasm of presenters. The main idea to organize the International Day is to more closely understand homelands of ISOC participants and widespread it within multinational environment.

    The ISOC students in ranks of 1st Lieutenant Captain and Major from eight NATO and PfP countries (Albania, Azerbaijan, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and Slovakia) were presenting their countries with the variety of valuable materiel. The friendly atmosphere and tasting of traditional meals and beverages supported by countries’ presentations created unforgettable experience for all the participants. All visitors had an opportunity not only to hear but also to feel various countries’ cuisine.

    Positive evaluations and comments of all guest as well as ISOC students confirmed the need to organize such events in the future.
