The members of the Indiana National Guard (USA) led by Lieutenant Colonel Mabis came to the Armed Forces Academy on February 17, 2016 in order to train the Military Decision Making Process on ISOC. The American instructors were officially welcomed by Director of Lifelong Education Centre Colonel Tomáš Novotný, PhD., and Commandant of the International Staff Officers’ Course Lieutenant Colonel Jozef Wesselényi.
The course is being attended by the members of ISOC as well as by several other members of the Armed Forces. On February 19, the Commander of the Second Mechanized Brigade Brig. Gen. Martin Stoklasa visited ISOC and took part in the Mission Analysis Brief.
The aim of the course is to train the American Decision Making Process at the Tactical Level (MDMP) and to transfer the ISOC syllabus that was previously based on the British Decision Making Process Doctrine. The course will be completed on 25 February, 2016 by the official ceremony.
