Completion of the ISOC course no.23

International Staff Officers’s Course, which has started on 21st of September 2020 ended with a closing ceremony on 30th of October 2020.

The course was attended by 11 officers in the ranks from captain to major from the Slovak Republic and one captain from the National Guard Indiana (USA). They were later joined by students from the Czech Republic and Latvia from the previous ISOC 22 course, which was prematurely terminated in March 2020.

Planned 9 weeks were shortened by 3 weeks due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation. Despite this shortening, the quality of the course did not suffer, because the course schedule was operationally adapted to the needs and goals of the course.

During these excessively intensive 6 weeks, the students were prepared for joint action in all phases of preparation and planning at the tactical level. All 20 students who have successfully completed this course gained the knowledge to plan and conduct military operations in english language in accordance with NATO standards across the whole spectrum of conflicts in the international environment.
